Kathmandu. Himalayan Bank Limited has launched the Union Pay RMB Card. The bank and China’s renowned card brand, UnionPay, have launched this card service for the first time in Nepal to make travel to China convenient and convenient for their local customers. <\/p>\n
With the use of the card, customers will be able to make payments in China directly in Chinese currency (CNY) through ATM, POS, QR code and e-commerce platforms. According to the bank, it will be more economical and acceptable than other payment methods. <\/p>\n
Students, businessmen, and tourists can easily load the amount approved by the Foreign Exchange Department of Nepal Rastra Bank on the card and make the payment through QR systems such as Alipay Plus, WeChat Pay, Nihao China under the UnionPay network. <\/p>\n
Ashoke SJB Rana, Chief Executive Officer of the bank and Mr. Zwang Bei, Vice President of Unionpay International jointly inaugurated the card amid a program held at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, Naxal. <\/p>\n
