A team of TAG_OPEN_p_8 the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested 58-year-old Sharma from Pingalasthan of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Asian Village Resort Pvt. Ltd. had taken a loan of Rs 480 million from Prabhu Bank Limited for the construction of the resort and purchase of land.TAG_OPEN_p_7 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The CIB has stated that the loan was taken in the name of the bank in the course of disbursement of the loan and the loan was taken on the basis of an agreement to mortgage the land in the name of the bank and the amount was used to pay the dues of the people who are related to the family of the chairman of the company and other borrower companies under his own group.TAG_OPEN_p_6 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Further investigation is underway against him under the Banking TAG_OPEN_p_5 Offences and Punishment Act, 2064. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
