Prabhu Bank is going to auction the assets of two big companies held by former assistant finance minister Roop Jyoti. Prabhu Bank has also called for bidding for the auction. <\/p>\n<p>Issuing a public notice on Friday, the bank has started the process of auctioning movable and immovable properties in the name of North Face Hotel and Nepal General Marketing Pvt. Ltd., two companies of Jyoti Group. <\/p>\n<p>Roop Jyoti is the chairman of Jyoti Group. The bank issued a 7-day notice for the last time after the borrowers and guarantors did not show interest in clearing the loan despite issuing 35-day and 15-day public notices. <\/p>\n<p>According to the bank, North Face Hotel Pvt Ltd was the first company to be put up for auction. Industrialist and former minister Roop Jyoti is the director and guarantor of the company. <\/p>\n<p>The bank has made it clear that it will sell these assets &#8220;as is&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
