Statements of other senior officials of the bank have been taken in connection with various scams. <\/p>\n<p>The then chief business officer of the bank, Rashmi Pant, is currently in police custody in connection with the scam. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Chief Business Officer of Prabhu Bank, has been transferred to Dhangadhi. He was waiting to become the deputy CEO of the bank, but the bank transferred him to Dhangadhi after seeing that he would be obstructed to bring a deputy CEO from outside. <\/p>\n<p>This is the latest rare instance of a senior bank official being transferred to the state. Earlier, NIC Asia Bank had resigned from the bank after sending its deputy CEO Sudhir Pandey to Madhesh Province.
