Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr. Bishwanath Poudel has discussed the impact of the floods in Rasuwa on the banking sector. Bishwanath Poudel held a meeting with the CEOs of the affected banks. Governor Poudel along with Deputy Governors Kiran Pandit and Dirgha Bahadur Rawal held a group meeting with the affected bankers on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>During the discussion, the NRB team inquired about the damage caused to banks and financial institutions by floods, the status of banking services in the affected areas and the challenges seen in regulating the services. <\/p>\n<p>Offices of banks and financial institutions have been affected due to the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi area of Rasuwa district. <\/p>\n<p>Operation of banking services in flood-affected areas has also been challenging. <\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
