Kathmandu. Bishal Khanal, a 24-year-old resident of Kathmandu, has alleged that a gang is trying to grab property worth Rs 6 crore from his uncredited transaction papers and cheques of Rs 32 lakh. <\/p>\n
Organizing a press conference at Sambad Dabali in the capital on Tuesday, Khanal alleged that Sarita KC and Ram Kumar KC, brothers and sisters and Surya Bahadur Bista had started the auction process by setting up some employees of the court. <\/p>\n
Khanal, a resident of Nagarjun Municipality-8 in Kathmandu, claimed that the lawyers who had defended him despite having ample evidence to prove his innocence, had to face defeat in the Kathmandu District Court and High Court. <\/p>\n
“KC and Bista deliberately skipped the hearing, did not present evidences and tried to kill justice by influencing some court staffers in the field,” Khanal said. <\/p>\n
He said that while they had appealed to the Supreme Court for final justice, the staff of the Kathmandu District Court had sent a notice on the 24th of this year to auction property worth millions in the name of his father. <\/p>\n
Khanal has complained that the unilateral verdict has been made unhappy by ignoring the facts and evidence and giving any information to the father and other family members who are the main owners of the property. Social activist Om Kumari Sharma argued that there is no room for suspicion about the court even though the gang of fraudsters has taken the Khanal family’s property to the illegal auction by influencing it as much as possible. <\/p>\n
“Yes, it is clear that the lawyer is under the influence of the opposition, there is also a suspicion that the gang has influenced the court staff. If not, then why did the auction process increase when the same case was going on in the Supreme Court?” she questioned. Defending the court, Sharma said, “It may not be that all the factual evidence has not reached the table of the honorable judge, the verdict will be based on the way the lawyer defended.” ‘<\/p>\n
Sharma claimed that the auction process done in an unjust manner would be stopped and if it was done, it would be null and void. Khanal has claimed that Sarita KC of Nijgadh Municipality-8, Bara, her brother Ram Kumar KC and Surya Bahadur Bista of Isma Rajsthal Rural Municipality-4 of Gulmi threatened and pressured him to cut a cheque of Rs 3.2 million in 2079 BS. <\/p>\n
According to him, he was unnecessarily involved in the transaction dispute of Rs 19.60 lakh between KC and Bista. <\/p>\n
He said that immediately after he was forced to cut the cheque, he filed a case of ‘use of criminal force’ and then Sarita KC filed a case of dishonour of cheque in the Kathmandu District Court. Khanal claimed that although he had presented evidence in the court regarding the alleged transaction between KC and Bista and that he was not responsible for the transaction, the evidence was not adequately addressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
