Kathmandu. Women employees of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank have donated hygiene materials to the flood affected people in Rasuwa. The women employees of the bank have donated hygiene and personal hygiene related materials to the affected people in various holding centers in Kathmandu affected by the floods in Rasuwa. <\/p>\n
Ruby Shrestha of the Human Resources Department of the bank handed over the materials to the affected people on behalf of the bank. Keeping in view the immediate need of health, sanitation and personal hygiene of the families displaced and affected by the natural disaster, the necessary hygiene materials were collected and provided with the participation of the bank’s women employees. <\/p>\n
The assistance has been provided with the intention of easing the daily life of the affected citizens as the need for basic personal health and hygiene items along with food, shelter and other relief materials are also important in case of disaster. Earlier, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank had provided Rs. 10 lakh as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the bank to support the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa. Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh for one day’s salary of the employees working in the bank. A total of Rs. 15 lakh. 25 lakhs has been provided. <\/p>\n
The amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The bank’s institutional support to the disaster-affected communities as well as the human participation shown at the employee level has further strengthened the spirit of social responsibility and cooperation. <\/p>\n
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been continuously supporting various sectors of disaster management, humanitarian assistance, health, education, financial literacy and social welfare under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and pledged to continue its support in relief and rehabilitation of the affected communities as per the need and situation. <\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
