Kathmandu. Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission Dr. Gunakar Bhatta has said that he has taken the initiative to bring a provision to spend the CSR amount in all the provinces. He said this while speaking at the 44th anniversary of the Nepal Academy of Administrative Trainers and Employees Reunion. <\/p>\n
Bhatt said that although there was opposition in the initial phase to allow banks to compulsorily issue debentures, the long-term benefits of it have been reaped by the financial system and the economy. He said that while bringing the policy provision, not only the immediate reaction but also the long-term impact should be considered. <\/p>\n
Bhatta also said that he has taken initiative to bring a provision to spend the CSR money of the banks in all provinces. <\/p>\n
According to him, the expenditure of CSR money in the province has also helped uplift the society, reduce poverty, increase financial literacy and raise public awareness. <\/p>\n
Vice President Bhatt said that research and development, knowledge exchange and innovation will play an important role in the economic growth of the country. He said, “Different countries are achieving this percentage of economic growth through research and development. Knowledge sharing and innovation are important in this. Not only production, but productivity is equally important and the production through that productivity is a bit sustainable. \u2019<\/p>\n
Bhatt said that the investment in research and development and innovation is important behind America’s leadership in the global economy. He said, “Today, why America is leading the economy, the engine of the global growth, is the investment in research and development. Their investment in innovation is equally important.” \u2019<\/p>\n
He said that the role of the organization is important as the citizens of different parts of the country will benefit from the behavior and service delivery of the employees trained by the Nepal Administrative Trainer Academy. Bhatta said that the administrative training will also affect the behavior of the employees and the attitude towards the citizens. Giving the example of the famine in India during the colonial period of the UK, he said that the knowledge and training given to the administrators will also affect the behavior towards the citizens. He said that the role of the Administrative Training Academy is important in making the service delivery of the state effective.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
