Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has extended the deadline for payment of principal and interest of loans. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a circular to banks and financial institutions directing them to extend the deadline for payment of principal and interest of borrowers affected by the floods in Bhotekoshi. <\/p>\n<p>After this directive of the Nepal Rastra Bank, the borrowers will be able to pay the principal and interest of the loan to be paid by mid-October. <\/p>\n<p>Enterprises, projects and businesses that have been directly affected in the flood-affected areas of Bhotekoshi and Budhigandaki, business based on the import or export of raw materials, semi-finished and ready-made goods from Rasuwa customs point and sales and income, cash flow, reserves and financial condition of borrowers, impact on import and export and utilization of loans will be eligible for this facility. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bankingsansar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Circular_Rasuwa-Flood.pdf\"> Circular_Rasuwa-Flood<\/a><div class=\"responsive-pdf-embed\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbankingsansar.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2026%2F10%2FCircular_Rasuwa-Flood.pdf&#038;embedded=true\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PDF preview\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
