KATHMANDU: Millions of rupees of Global IME Bank have been stuck due to the negligence of the employees of the new road branch of the bank. Santosh Bhurtel, an employee of a stock brokerage company named Ashutosh Brokerage, said that millions of rupees of the bank were stuck while paying the cheque even though there was no money in the account. The bank, which had done such illegal transactions many times in the past, paid the cheque in an account with no money, after which the employees of the broker company absconded.

Santosh Bhurtel, an employee of the company, used to request the bank officials to pay the cheque without any money. This process was going on. But this time, Santosh Bhurtel did not bring the money. The employees of the bank were trapped by such transactions on the basis of acquaintances.
