Who will take over the post of deputy governor which has been vacant for three weeks?

Kathmandu. The second meeting of the Council of Ministers is taking place at 4 pm today.  With the formation of the new government, the NRB is likely to get a new leadership to the post of deputy governor which has been vacant for the past three weeks.

The new government has been formed under the leadership of Balendra Shah. The previous government had left the responsibility of appointing deputy governors to the new government.

Accordingly, preparations are being made to move ahead with the appointment process for the post where there is a lack of leadership in the Rastra Bank.

Finance Minister Dr. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Bishwanath Poudel and Swarnim Wagle held discussions on the appointment of deputy governor. During the discussion, the governor has already recommended the necessary names for the appointment.
