A police team deputed from the Kathmandu Criminal Investigation Office arrested him from the airport gate on the charge of disturbing public peace by making such statements through social media and surveillance online TV.
He has been sent to the District Police Range, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu for further investigation and necessary action.
Earlier, Sangraula, the coordinator of the Citizen Save Mega Campaign, had been investigated. Earlier, 44-year-old Devi Prasad Sangraula was investigated on the charge of creating confusion in the society by giving statements targeting banks and financial institutions through social media.
At the same time, he admitted that he had spoken against banks and financial institutions in violation of the rule of law, saying that it was his mistake.
