Kathmandu. Kumari Bank Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chatat Online Pvt. Ltd., a technology company based in Nepal. The bank has signed an MoU with a Nepal-based technology company to provide further innovative and digital services to the customers.
With this collaboration, NIMBJ’s international data and international driving permit services have been integrated into the mobile banking app of Kumari Bank.
With this partnership, Kumari Bank’s customers can now easily purchase International Data ESIM package and apply for International Driving Permit through mobile banking app. These services are expected to be especially useful for Nepalis traveling abroad, students going abroad for higher studies, Nepalis in overseas employment and customers traveling abroad regularly for business purposes.
In today’s digital age, reliable internet access and the provision of necessary travel documents are very important while traveling internationally. The ESIM service will enable customers to easily use data when abroad, without the hassle of purchasing local SIM card, SIM change or searching for different network services.
The IDP service will help customers to get the required services digitally, making the process of obtaining an international driving permit simpler, faster and more systematic.
Another unique feature of this service is the facility for customers to pay ESIM and IDP services in Nepali rupees through Kumari Bank Mobile Banking App. This is expected to reduce the need to search for alternative means of payment for international services and make the entire process more convenient, secure and customer friendly. With this, the customers will save time, cost and labor and will also be able to get international level services while staying in the country.
Kumari Bank has been rendering banking services for the past 25 years through a network of 285 branches, 41 extension counters, 303 ATMs and 40 branchless banking units across the country.
