Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has urged people to be cautious as money is being stolen from bank accounts. The bureau has urged the people to be cautious as money in the accounts of banks and financial institutions is being stolen using various apps and systems related to electronic transactions.
Through the notice, the bureau revealed that different mobile numbers and alerts have been sent to different mobile phones with names similar to Connect IPS.
KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has urged users to take precaution after the trend of stealing huge amount of money from bank accounts by sending ‘phishing links’ to users by providing unauthorized access to personal details and bank accounts.
At the same time, the bureau has urged people not to open such unauthorized links and to be careful.
