Kathmandu. Diprox Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has conducted a training on commercial cow and poultry farming. The microfinance company has conducted a six-day on-the-spot training for its members.
The six-day on-site training was conducted from May 17 to 13 in six districts of Koshi Province for its branch offices in Taplejung, Panchthar, Ilam, Tehrathum and Sankhuwasabha.
The training was aimed at enhancing the capacity of rural women members and encouraging them to engage in commercial animal husbandry.
It is also believed that this training will increase the income of the participating livestock members in the long run.
