Kathmandu. A man has been arrested in connection with a banking fraud case. The arrested is 46-year-old Harka Bahadur Budha of Lalitpur.
A police team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Harka Bahadur Budha, 46, of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-4 in Rukum East from Kalanki on Wednesday.
The Kathmandu District Court had granted permission to arrest Budha on December 15, 2082 on the banking offense case. A fine of Rs 2.58 crore has been imposed on Budha, who was absconding immediately after the court’s permission.
He has been sent to the District Police Range, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and actions.
