Kathmandu. It has been found that an explanation has been sought from the Rural Development Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited. Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has sought clarification from the Rural Development Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RSS).
NEPSE has sought a written response from the company for not disclosing the price sensitive information on time.
According to the Securities Listing Bylaw-2075 BS, a listed company has to make public the information affecting the price of the listed companies within 10:30 am on the same day or the next day before opening the transaction.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of Rural Development Laghubitta held at 7:00 am on May 17, 2083 and decided to hold its annual general meeting for the fiscal year 2081/82. However, the information was uploaded by the company in the NOTS system of NEPSE only at 9:33 am on May 20.
NEPSE has asked the company to submit an explanation within 3 working days from the date of receipt of the letter.
