Kathmandu. Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has revised its dividend. The microfinance company has amended the dividend to be distributed to the shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year.
Issuing a notice, the microfinance company has said that it will no longer distribute dividends to the shareholders. The meeting of the board of directors of the microfinance company held on May 22 has decided not to distribute any dividend by modifying the previous dividend proposal.
The meeting of the board of directors of the microfinance company held on February 29 had decided to distribute 10 percent dividend comprising 9.5 percent bonus shares and 0.50 percent cash dividend.
According to the microfinance company, the amendment has been made as there are legal and technical compulsions that the proposed dividend cannot be kept as it is due to the regulatory provisions and mandatory adjustments in the financial indicators in order to further strengthen the financial report.
