Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank is going to organize the Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2026-Season 5. KATHMANDU: The bank is all set to organize Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2026 Season 5 on the occasion of its 32nd year.
The tournament is scheduled to be held from June 3 to June 3 at the Royal Sports Park in Chunikhel, Kathmandu.
The competition will be attended by banks and financial institutions (BFIs) licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, insurance companies as well as merchant banks.
A total of 45 matches will be played over four days with 240 players taking part. There will be participation of 9 commercial banks, 7 development banks, 3 finance companies, 1 microfinance company, 3 insurance companies and 1 merchant bank.
The 24 teams are divided into six groups. One of the best teams in the group will qualify for the Super Six.
Machhapuchchhre Bank, NMB Bank, Prime Commercial Bank, Kumari Bank, Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Sanima Bank, Nepal Bank Limited, Prabhu Bank, Garima Bikas Bank, Lumbini Bikas Bank, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, Jyoti Bikas Bank. The participating companies are Shangrila Development Bank, Shine Resunga Development Bank, ICFC Finance, Shree Investment and Finance, Manjushree Finance, Swalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Sanima GIC Insurance, Siddhartha Premier Insurance, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance and NIMBS Ace Capital.
Prizes will be given to the winner, runner-up, man-of-the-series, best bowler, best batsman, wicket-keeper, best fielder, fair play award among others.
