Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Prof. Dr. KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Bishwanath Poudel has said that the monetary policy will be focused on improving the interest rate and ensuring financial stability. During a meeting with Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Governor Poudel said the upcoming monetary policy would be focused on ensuring fiscal stability.

Governor Dr. Poudel has suggested the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2083/84. On behalf of the CNI, President Birendra Raj Pandey said that Governor Dr. He handed over suggestions for the upcoming monetary policy to Dr. Poudel.
} The Confederation has suggested to bring the monetary policy keeping in mind the fact that the macro indicators of the external sector are encouraging and strong but the internal economic activities have been out of rhythm for a long time.
