Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue debentures to its shareholders. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue debentures worth Rs 35 billion on July 30.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue ‘Nepal Rastra Bank Debenture 2084 A’ today. The interested investors can apply for the debentures from class ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’.
The online bidding process will take place till 3:00 pm on July 3. The interest rate of these bonds will be determined through bidding.
It is a one-year bond. The principal will be paid on July 30, 2084 and the interest will be paid half-yearly. The interested bidders can bid for a minimum of Rs 5 crore and a maximum of Rs 5 crore.
The debentures can be used as collateral in Nepal Rastra Bank and other banks and financial institutions.
