Kathmandu. Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Bishwanath Poudel has said that he will work without losing anyone’s money. He said this while addressing a dialogue on monetary policy 2083-84 organized by the Former Planners’ Forum Nepal.
He also said that the main function of monetary policy is to manipulate policy rates. At the same time, he said that the fiscal policy should work in liquidity management. He also said that it has been emphasized in the monetary policy for the coming fiscal year to provide information like policy rate as soon as the monetary policy is mentioned.
