Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank Ltd has launched NepalPay Payment Now, a new digital banking service for its customers. Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) has started accepting the payment through NepalPay card.
With this, the bank’s customers can easily use their NepalPay card.
RuPay cards and other international cards under the discover network can now be used at the bank’s ATMs and POS terminals. NepalPay Card is a national card scheme operated under the National Payment Switch.
This can be used not only in Nepal but also in ATMs and POS terminals abroad in collaboration with international payment partner Discover Network.
The bank believes that this initiative will help to further strengthen the digital payment system of Nepal along with the expansion of the use of National Card. Currently, more than 36 banks and financial institutions have been enrolled in the national card system.
Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Chief Information Officer of the bank Jayendra Rawal informed about this.
