Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has bagged prestigious international recognition under the ‘Rising Star Growth’ category. The award was presented to the bank at the 4th Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards 2026 organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) of India.
The event was attended by banks and financial institutions from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar in the event held on July 24, India. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has been awarded with the Rising Star Growth Award for its contribution to the expansion of digital banking services, development of innovative financial products, business expansion, increase in financial access and responsible banking practices.
According to the bank, this honor will further strengthen its identity in the international banking sector.
Earlier, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank had also received international recognition under the ‘Asset Quality’ category in the same award program.
The bank, which has been providing its services with the slogan ‘Sabal Bank, Safal Collaboration’, recently inaugurated a digital hub with coffee lounge at Gyaneshwor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30.
