Contempt of court case filed against Prabhu Bank CEO Suman Sharma ‘not to be seen’

Kathmandu. The contempt of court case filed against Prabhu Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suman Sharma has been filed on August 9. A division bench of Justices Saranga Subedi and Tek Prasad Dhungana was hearing the case.

Ambir Babu Gurung had filed a contempt of court case against CEO of Prabhu Bank Suman Sharma on July 30. After CEO Sharma disobeyed the court’s order, Gurung went to the Supreme Court with the case.

The first hearing of the case was adjourned to “not be seen”.

If the CEO of the bank is found guilty, he could face a cash fine and jail sentence as per the law.
