Dhakal joins the board to appoint Janak as CEO after Suman Sharma is suspended in fraud case!

Kathmandu. After the controversy of Prabhu Bank’s CEO Suman Sharma, the future leadership of the bank has been discussed in the board of directors. According to a director, the name of Janak Sharma Paudel has also been proposed in the process of who should be given the responsibility in place of Sharma.

After the criminal case was filed against Sharma, the question was raised that the status of his post should be clear as per the bank’s employee bylaws. In this context, the board discussed the issue of appointing an acting CEO or bringing another person to the leadership.

According to one of the directors, during the discussion, two directors had proposed to bring Janak Sharma Poudel as the CEO.

However, the board has insisted on clarifying Sharma’s legal status before making a decision on a new appointment and arranging a caretaker leadership if necessary.

However, the directors of the bank claim that the bank is preparing to bring in people from outside if Sharma is not able to run the bank.
