Chairman Pandey, 6 directors of Nepal Investment Mega Bank absconding

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: 6 directors of Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIBL) are on the absconding list of the Supreme Court. A case has been filed against 6 operators in connection with the Smart Telecom scam linked to the bank.

The absconding members are Prithvi Bahadur Pandey, Prajanya Raj Bhandari, poet Kumar Tibrewala, Diwakar Shakya Udai, Shalikram Belbase and Shova Shrestha.TAG_OPEN_div_6

} Cases have been filed against them at Kathmandu District Court on the charge of fraud, organized crime, and bank and financial institution. They have been accused of auctioning the property already owned by the government in collusion with Ncell.
