NIMB case: Nepal Rastra Bank continues discussions on what to do about CEO, board of directors

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has clarified that the financial condition of Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMEGA Bank) is satisfactory and will not affect its regular operations. However, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has clarified that it is seeking legal opinion on the matter.

According to the Employees Bye-laws approved by the Rastra Bank, the employees are automatically suspended when a criminal case is filed. It has not yet been decided what to do after the officials within the Rastra Bank claimed that the difference in the case of Nepal Investment Mega Bank will lead to legal complications in the future.

The Nepal Rastra Bank (TAG_OPEN_div_13 NRB) has been continuously monitoring the operation, management and financial condition of the bank.
