Contempt of court case against Prabhu Bank CEO still ‘unwatchable’

Kathmandu. The contempt of court case filed against Prabhu Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suman Sharma has been fixed for August 29. A division bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Nripa Dhwaj Niraula refused to hear the case. The next hearing of the case will be scheduled.

Ambir Babu Gurung had filed a contempt of court case against Prabhu Bank CEO Suman Sharma on July 12. Gurung had filed a case at the Supreme Court against CEO Sharma for defying the court’s order.

If the CEO of the bank is found guilty, he could face a cash fine and jail sentence as per the law.
