. NMB Bank has made financial closure of Tila 1 Hydropower Project. The bank is the lead investor of the 440 MW Tila-1 Hydropower Project located in Kalikot District.
The total cost of the project is Rs 59.40 billion and Rs
44.55 billion has been raised through the consortium. This financial arrangement is seen as another important achievement in Nepal’s energy development.
NMB Bank is the lead bank while Global IME, Himalayan Bank and Prabhu Bank are the co-lead banks.
Nepal has already invested in more than 50 hydropower projects and has been continuously contributing to the development of Nepal’s energy sector through sustainable and responsible investment.
