Muktinath Bikas Bank has signed an agreement to acquire Janaki Finance and Sindhu Bikas Bank.

Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire Janaki Finance Company Limited and Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited.

The agreement was signed by the respective representatives of the three organizations. The proposed acquisition process has been initiated with the objective of strengthening the financial sector, building institutional capacity, expanding the business and providing more effective financial services to the customers.

The proposed acquisition will be finalized only after completion of necessary approvals and regulatory processes in accordance with the Nepal Rastra Bank and the prevailing laws.

All the three organizations have committed to adhering to the prevailing legal and regulatory provisions by taking forward the proposed process in a transparent and systematic manner. In addition, the interests of all stakeholders concerned will be given priority in the procurement process.
