Kathmandu. The office bearers and employees of the bank have donated money to the relief fund. The governor, deputy governor and employees of the Nepal Rastra Bank have donated Rs 1,38,99,425 to the families affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi river.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The amount was collected on behalf of the bank’s governor, deputy governor and employees (including contract employees) and handed over to the fund.
The floods in Bhotekoshi have caused huge loss of life and property in Rasuwa and surrounding districts. The government is collecting funds for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims through the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
