Kathmandu. Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has conducted a financial literacy programme. On the occasion of World Financial Week-Global Money Week-2026, the microfinance company organized financial literacy and awareness programs with the slogan Smart Money Talks.
The microfinance company conducted the financial literacy program from March 16 to March 22, 2082 through various branch offices.
The program was organized in 8 places including Bhumahi Nawalparasi, Kabasoti Nawalpur, Bhanu Tanahun, Tulsipur Dang, Khangsang Sindhuli, Ghorakhori, Okhaldhunga and Aurabani Sunsari with the participation of women members, children and youths.
According to Prabhuraj Thapa, Chief of Training, Compliance and Enforcement Department of the organization, the program provided information to the participants about the importance of money, how to manage savings, expenses and income wisely, and how to make the right plan.
Global Money Week, which has been celebrated since 2012, is celebrated in March every year in Nepal under the national coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank. So far, more than 176 countries have participated in the program.
