Kathmandu. A woman has been arrested on the charge of misbehaving with the manager of the Himalayan Bank Limited’s Palpa branch. The arrested is 45-year-old Manju Regmi.
Manju Regmi, 45, of Meldhara, Tansen Municipality-2, had gone to the bank to take a loan of Rs 4 million. It was revealed that he had misbehaved and manhandled the manager of the Palpa branch of Himalayan Bank Limited in his office.
Manager of the bank, Prakash Subedi, said that the land on the trail road was not acceptable as per the bank’s policy and rules.
As the dispute escalated, he allegedly assaulted manager Subedi, according to the complaint. She is currently in police custody.
