Govt to get Rs 28 billion concessional loan

Kathmandu. The government has decided to take concessional loan worth Rs 28 billion from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday.

The government has decided to take a loan of $ 90 million with $ 40 million from ADB and $ 50 million from the World Bank for the Nepal Transformation Project.

Minister for Education and Government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said that the government has decided to accept USD 95 million concessional loan from the World Bank for the Sustainable and Inclusive Finance Project.
