Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has opened a large number of branches. Issuing a notice, the bank has closed 44 branches in four provinces at once.
Under this, 32 will be merged in Kathmandu Valley alone. The bank has closed its branch office with effect from today. According to the bank, the adjusted branch offices will be completely closed and the services will be provided from the existing branch offices after the adjustment.
The bank has closed its branches at Nagpokhari, Putalisadak, Durbarmarg, Gyaneshwor, Bagbazaar, Bohoratar, Machhapokhari, Dhungedhara-Nursery Chowk, New Road, Khichapokhari, Bhotahiti, Kilagal, Tinchuli, Chabahil, Narefat, Baluwatar, Anamnagar, Sankhamul, Middle Baneshwor, Khasi Bazaar, Kapan, Gongabu, Sorhakhutte, Teku, Sinamangal, Mitrapark and Kalopul.
Likewise, the Baseni branch offices in Lagankhel, Mangal Bazaar, Sanepa, Gwarko, Khumaltar, Khokana and Chitwan will also be merged. Power House Chowk, Budhi Bazaar, Bajha Patan, Mahendrapul-Pokhara, Bagar and Birauta branch offices have also been closed.
Similarly, the branch offices at Biratnagar Main Road, Hatkhola, Rani Mills Area and Link Road and Powerhouse Chowk in Parsa will also be merged. A large number of branches in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kaski, Morang and Parsa districts have been closed.
