Citizens Bank’s 20th year of service, capital strengthened

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Limited has entered into its 20th year of continuous expansion and growth since its inception. The bank has completed 19 years and officially started its 20th year. In a journey spanning nearly two decades, the bank has made remarkable achievements in the financial sector. Presently, the bank’s paid-up capital stands at Rs 15.5 billion. During the period, the bank disbursed loans of Rs 1.77 billion and collected deposits of Rs 216 billion.

With this, the bank now has 200 branches across the country. The bank has been serving more than 2 million 11 thousand customers and has also strengthened its customer base. According to the bank, the bank has been providing regular returns to the depositors and borrowers as well as the shareholders, which has further strengthened the confidence of the investors.

In addition, the bank also provides capital market services through its subsidiary Citizens Capital Limited. In the coming days, the bank plans to focus more on digital banking, improving service quality and expanding financial access. This achievement of the bank is taken as an important milestone in the Nepalese banking sector. On the occasion, the bank has also organized various social responsibility programs including blood donation.
