Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank Limited has planted saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 under the ‘One Account, One Tree’ campaign. As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the bank organized a tree plantation at Chaukidanda Tourism Park in Budhanilkantha on Saturday.
A total of 1,500 saplings have been planted in the park and 200 saplings have been planted in other provinces across the country: Koshi 200, Madhesh 250, Gandaki 200, Lumbini 200, Karnali 200 and Sudurpaschim 200.
Chief Executive Officer of the bank Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokharel, Chairman of Ward No. 1 Mr. Surendra Lama and senior management of the bank were present during the program.
As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the bank has also provided support to various community schools and health camps in various parts of the country.
