Kathmandu. Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Kiran Pandit has made public the details of his assets. Pandit, who was appointed as the deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank on April 4, has made his property details public.
According to the details made public by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the deputy governor of Tokha Municipality has a land worth Rs 22.0 million in the name of his wife Kamana Sharma Pandit. The sources of the assets include personal income and wife’s income and bank loans. He also owns land worth Rs 6.9 million in his wife’s name in Tarkeshwor of Kathmandu and Rs 1 million in Dhangadhi of Kailali.
His father Keshari Raj Pandit owns 11 ropanis of land in Damauli, Tanahun and 6 anna of land in Kathmandu in the name of his mother. According to the property details, Pandit has 20 tola gold, 250 tola silver and diamonds worth Rs 200,000. This wealth is said to have been found as a source of private income and in marriages and marriages.
Pandit has savings of more than Rs 20 million in Nepal Rastra Bank, Employees Provident Fund and various banks. Similarly, he has more than 700 units of shares of various companies.
