Kathmandu. A man has been arrested in connection with a banking fraud case. The arrested is Abinash Rana aka Kulin, a resident of Kohalpur municipality-10 in Banke district.
The District Court Nepalgunj, Banke had imposed a fine of Rs 14.6 million on him on a banking charge.
He was absconding after the District Court Nepalgunj, Banke slapped him jail term and fine on him. He was sentenced to two counts of banking and dishonouring a cheque for 2 years, two months and 9 days in prison.
A police team deputed from Area Police Office, Kohalpur, Banke arrested him and presented him before the court for necessary action, police said.
