Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank’s Chief Business Officer Rashmi Pant has claimed that she did not misuse the loan amount in connection with the Rs 48 crore fraud case.
According to Panta, the amount was used to purchase land related to Asian Village Resort and to repay old debts. The CIB is investigating the case. The final conclusion of the charges against Panta would be taken on the basis of investigation and evidence.
The CIB has also taken statements of six other bankers besides five bankers who have been booked in connection with the Rs 48 crore fraud case. Dipendra Babu Bista working in the marketing department of the bank and 6 other bankers have also given statements in the case of Prabhu Bank.
