National Life Insurance contributes Rs 1.51 crore to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu. National Life Insurance has provided financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The company has provided financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The company has contributed Rs 15

.1 million to the fund for reconstruction, economic recovery and relief works in the wake of the massive floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers on September 26.

The cheque of the amount was handed over to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle by the company’s Chairman Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh and Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri in a special ceremony today. The loss of life and property due to this unexpected incident has deeply saddened the family of the company and the company has requested all the concerned employees and agents of the company to get involved in the rescue work.
