Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has handed over snakebite treatment equipment to Nepal Red Cross Society. As part of its corporate social responsibility, it has handed over a cardio monitor and suction machine to Nepal Red Cross Society located in Damak Municipality-7 through its branch office.
According to the bank, these equipment, which is essential for health treatment, will be of great help in the treatment of emergency patients including snakebite. The bank’s Koshi Province Chief Khimlal Bhusal handed over a cardio monitor and suction machine to Goma Devi Prasain Budhathoki, President of Nepal Red Cross Society.
President of the Red Cross Society Budhathoki thanked the bank and said that the support would be useful to monitor the health condition of the patients who are in critical condition due to snakebite and the suction machine to provide necessary support in case of respiratory emergency. Speaking at the program, Chief Bhusal said that the bank is proud to help make the resources available at the local level more effective as health service is the basic need of the community.
He informed that the bank has been continuously providing support in the areas of education, health and social services as part of its social responsibility. It is believed that this support will help the people of Damak area to get more easy health services when needed.
The program was attended by the bank’s employees, officers and members of the Nepal Red Cross Society. The bank has expressed its commitment to carry forward such humanitarian and social works with priority in the coming days as well.
