The number of branches of banks and financial institutions has reached 11,329 (with information)

Kathmandu. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, there are 105 banks and financial institutions operating in Nepal.

Among them, 20 are commercial banks, 17 development banks, 16 finance companies, 51 microfinance financial institutions and one infrastructure development bank.

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the data on the basis of preliminary data received from banks and financial institutions (BFIs).
