Kathmandu. The Confederation of Banks and Financial Institutions (CBFIN) and Nepal Business Institute (NBI) are going to organize the Nepal Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2083 focusing on the main topics of AI, youth entrepreneurship and employment. CBFIN and NBI have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the conference to be held in Kathmandu on October 23.
The conference will be attended by high-ranking officials from all three tiers of government, private sector, development partner organizations and various diplomatic missions. Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Acting President of CBFIN, Rajesh Upadhyay expressed his confidence that the conference would be a milestone in further expanding and commercializing the relationship between Nepal’s banking and financial sector and young entrepreneurs, focusing on financial access, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, innovation and use of technology for job creation.
He added that this collaboration between CBFIN and NBI will play an important role in increasing financial literacy among young entrepreneurs, increasing the use of digital banking, and developing a culture of responsible loan consumption. Similarly, Executive Chairman of Nepal Business Institute, Bishal Gaire, said that the collaboration with CBFIN will make the conference more effective as it has direct relations with banks and financial institutions as it has direct relations with banks and financial institutions. At a time when the external indicators of the country’s economy are in a strong position and low interest rates are maintained with sufficient liquidity, the conference is expected to guide the budding young entrepreneurs working in the field of entrepreneurship, start-ups, new technology and innovation, and are looking to move forward in the field of entrepreneurship, and will add a new dimension to the sustainable development of Nepal’s financial sector and the promotion of youth entrepreneurship.
