Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has opened applications for the fellowship and certificate course offered under the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE). The bank has invited applications for the seventh cohort of Nabil SSE Fellowship and a new batch of certificate courses.
Interested citizens of Nepal 18 years and above with an entrepreneurial vision to make a social and economic impact can apply.
The fellowship program will be conducted in collaboration with Tribhuvan University’s School of Management. The duration of which will be 6 months. According to the bank, the selected participants will have to have at least 90 percent attendance in the program. Similarly, the three-month certificate course will target students, early-stage entrepreneurs and micro and small entrepreneurs.
The participants of the program will get the opportunity to build knowledge, skills and capacity required for the development and expansion of the enterprise. The main aspects of the program are business concept development, enterprise management, business model development, practical learning, guidance from experts, interaction with successful entrepreneurs and practical experience.
According to the bank, more than 1,580 participants have benefited from the Nabil SSE, which has been in operation since 2021. The bank claims that the participants of the program have established 318 enterprises and created direct and indirect employment and livelihood opportunities for 19,303 people.
