Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank has handed over a smart board to Shree Annapurna Secondary School. The board was handed over to Shree Annapurna Secondary School under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at the initiative of Prabhu Bank Limited, Gandaki Business Centre and Palungtar branch.
The smart board has been provided to the school with the objective of connecting students with modern and quality education by increasing the access of technology in education. It is expected to make digital teaching-learning process in schools more effective, interactive, and technology-friendly.
As the world is rapidly moving towards digital transformation, such programs will contribute to prepare capable, efficient, and competitive citizens for the future by acquainting students with the latest technology.
Prabhu Bank has been carrying out various CSR programs with priority to education, innovation and community development. The programme is expected to help promote quality education and reduce the digital divide.
The program was attended by the school management committee, teachers, students and local stakeholders. The participants appreciated the bank’s social work and expressed confidence that it would contribute significantly to the educational development of the students.
Prabhu Bank has stated that it will continue such CSR programs in the areas of education, health and community development in the days ahead.
