Kathmandu. Kumari Bank’s Mobile Banking App has now started IRD Incentive Program. To support the taxpayer incentive program of the Government of Nepal and the Inland Revenue Department, the bank has introduced IRD Incentive Program on its mobile banking app.
Launched in the budget of FY 2083/84, the program aims to incentivize consumers to buy PAN and VAT bills, promote digital payments, tax compliance, and financial transparency. With this facility, Kumari Bank’s customers will be able to deposit Rs. 100 for personal use within Nepal. Customers can easily check the number of eligible transactions, transaction details and the status of the rewards through the IRD Incentive Program Menu of Kumari Smart Bachat Mobile Banking App. It is expected that it is expected to play a significant role to help customers make digital payments, receive PAN and VAT bills and encourage professional transactions.
As per the provisions of the Inland Revenue Department, one customer will be able to deposit Rs. 1000 after tax deduction through daily lucky draw from eligible transactions. They will win a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while one lucky customer will win Rs. 100,000 every 15 days. They will receive a bumper prize worth Rs 10 lakh. Kumari Bank has urged its customers to make payments through the merchant QR code, collect PAN and VAT bills, keep bill safe and check their eligibility status by using IRD incentive program on regular basis.
