Agricultural Development Bank to provide group health insurance facility up to Rs 1 lakh to ex-employees

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADB) has decided to provide group health insurance facility to its former employees. The bank has issued a notice to the ex-employees for a period of one year. Group health insurance up to Rs 1 lakh will be provided.

According to the bank, the former employees interested in availing the insurance facility have to submit an application to the Human Resource Management Department of the bank by July 2, 2083 after fulfilling the required process.

Employees who have worked in the bank for at least 15 years on permanent, temporary or monthly salary and not exceeding 70 years of age are eligible for this facility. The concerned former employee can apply to the nearest office of the bank where he/she resides or is convenient.

However, according to the Employees Service Bylaws, former employees who have been dismissed as punishment or have been convicted by the court will not be able to get this facility. Along with the application, the bank’s applicant should submit a copy of the bank’s former employee identity card or former employee certificate and a photocopy of citizenship.

Agricultural Development Bank is implementing this facility with the objective of bringing its eligible former employees under the ambit of health security.
