Prabhu Bank Conducts Nationwide Blood Donation Program

Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank has organized blood donation programs in all seven provinces in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society. Prabhu Bank has organized blood donation programs in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society in all seven provinces of the country on September 15 with the belief that it will help the injured due to natural disasters and floods in the country.

According to the bank, the bank has opened eight branches in Bagmati Province, Biratnagar branch in Chitwan, Biratnagar branch in Madhes Province, Amar Singh Chowk branch in Pokhara, Butwal branch in Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch in Karnali Province and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim Province.

In this blood donation program, 321 pints of blood were collected from the participants in all the seven provinces. Earlier, the bank had provided relief assistance to the families affected and homeless due to the devastating floods. Rs. 2,11,11,11,110 was collected voluntarily by the directors and employees of Prabhu Bank. Rs. 40,80,50 was donated to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

The bank also handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot as part of its corporate social responsibility to provide relief to the flood-affected families.
